Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

Our outpatient rehabilitation is provided by therapists who specialize in individual care. We pride ourselves upon the evaluation and treatment of each person who comes to us on a one-on-one basis. We are highly committed to helping each patient reach his or her optimal level of functioning, and we’re skilled in helping people just like you achieve a quick recovery from pain, injury, or surgical procedure. If you have a prescription or order from a physician, you may simply come and see us – our staff will take care of the rest. We accept many insurance plans, including Medicare, and we are always adding new networks. Our rehabilitation center is proud to offer flexible scheduling and treatment in a calm, peaceful setting.

Physical therapy is a treatment approach, consisting of specific exercises and modalities. We work with you to set and accomplish objectives and functional goals, after an injury or operation. Physical therapy may be prescribed for many kinds of conditions. Physical therapy may help improve dysfunctions to the knee, foot and ankle; lower back, shoulder and neck pain; strain and sprains; muscle, tendon, and ligament tears; arthritis; bursitis; tendinitis joint inflammation; and fractures and breaks. Physical therapy may also improve function in such areas as lifting, carrying, walking, pushing and pulling, dressing, bathing, reaching, headaches, endurance issues, ambulation difficulties, and sports-related injuries.

Stroke and Neurological Rehabilitation

Our stroke and neurological program is designed to help individuals improve their physical, proprioceptive, and cognitive skills following a stroke or other neurological events. Our goal as therapists is to enable each person who comes to us to a fulfilling life, filled with dignity and independence.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular rehab is designed to diminish the symptoms relating to vestibular dysfunction, which may have resulted from a stroke, brain injury, traumatic injuries, or other diseases. Vestibular dysfunction can reduce an individual’s independence and safety by severely impacting his or her equilibrium and sense of balance. Symptoms include dizziness, vertigo, nausea, balance problems when walking, motion sickness, inability to visually concentrate, blurred vision, and sensitivity to busy environments.

Musculoskeletal and Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Our team works with many individuals who have undergone a total hip or knee replacement, sustained trauma to a bone, or have a bone or soft tissue disease. We focus on helping patients regain their strength, mobility, and endurance so they can return home and resume their regular routines as quickly as possible.

We’d love the chance to work with you. Please come join us at Delta Medical Center’s Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic, where we will make your recovery an amazing experience for you and your loved ones.
