As a service to the community, Delta Medical Center is a Tobacco Free Facility.  Smoking and use of tobacco products is prohibited on the Delta Medical Center campus.  This includes, but is not limited to, all property grounds, medical office building, parking lots, storage facilities, company vehicles, privately owned vehicles parked on hospital property and sidewalks or streets adjacent to Delta Medical Centr properties (Getwell Road, Knight Arnold and Watson)  There is no designated areas for smoking, as stated in policy HR 06-22 Smoking and Tobacco Use.

This is part of a city-wide initiative which includes Methodist Healthcre, Baptist, St. Francis, the MED, The VA Medical Center, Memphis Mental Health Institute and Southern College of Optometry. 

The Mempis-area tobacco free policy is one of the largest efforts in the state of Tenessee, and is endorsed by Governor Phil Bredesen, the Tennessee Hospital Association, and the Tennessee Department of Health.  We thank you for cooperating with this policy.
