At Delta Medical Center, we recognize that some problems are too big to handle alone. When struggling with chemical dependency, depression, or other emotional problems, special attention is required to meet each individual's unique needs. Because our Behavioral Health units are located in a full-service hospital in Memphis, we can address both medical and behavioral health problems. Our licensed hospital, with 243 beds, provides supervision, care and follow-up treatment for the behavioral health patient.

Call (901) 369-6021 for a free and confidential intake interview or to make a referral. We can help you learn practical ways to manage mental health and substance abuse problems. We strive to teach patients new skills to cope with life’s problems, reduce conflicts, have fulfilling relationships, and live a normal daily life. After normal business hours, call the appropriate behavioral health unit for information or to inquire about admission. So, when BIG problems require BIG solutions, Delta Medical Center's Behavioral Health treatment programs can provide help and emotional healing.

ADULT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH UNITS: We have two levels of care for adults who need inpatient treatment:
MENTAL HEALTH UNIT: (901)369-8690	TRANSFORMED LIFE UNIT: (901)369-8140
Designed for those individuals who need a more intensive level of care and assistance for their personal safety.	Designed for those individuals who need treatment for depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. This unit also offers a Christian-based treatment track for those individuals who wish to use Scripture to assist in their healing process.
SENIOR LIFE SKILLS UNIT: (901)369-8130 Designed for seniors who are experiencing difficulties with depression, dementia, or other age related concerns. PARTIAL HOSPITIALIZATION (PHP): (901)369-6980 Provides outpatient groups and individual counseling 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday. INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT (IOP): (901)369-6980 Provides outpatient groups and individual counseling 2-3 days per week. Most insurances are accepted, but please call for more information.
